Abstract

The present work is the result of a theoretical articulation based on the concepts of Time and Soul, based on the meeting of literatures in the areas of Philosophy, Sociology, Judaism with emphasis and deepening in Analytical Psychology. Here there is a theoretical articulation carried out through a qualitative methodological approach. The study was conducted taking into account: Bibliographical Survey, Theoretical Framing and Analysis and Synthesis. Talking about the  Soul means dialog with interiority. Talking about temporality is establishing a connection between interior and exterior. A factor that supports the motivation for this work is the contemporary dynamics that relegate issues relating to the inner human world to secondary (and even tertiary) levels. This article begins by dealing with the theme of Time, seeking conceptual refuge in the creation myths of Greek cosmogony, which are narratives that reflect human concern about the genesis of the universe and what resides in it. In this source there is time represented by Cronos, which refers to a devouring instance, while Kairós assumes a different condition, called Unexpected Time, chance and opportunity. Contemporary liquidity has been an opportunity for individuals to discover and rediscover themselves. However, the Soul cannot be accelerated. Existential anxiety suffers from the impossibility of rushing the river, as it flows alone. The Soul needs Time. In the arduous and constant task of searching for oneself, the individual relates to their Soul, cultivating it, at the same time as they are cultivated by it.
