Abstract

With current technologics changes, the demands of the job market are changing. Increasing importance has been attributed to personal skills, including emotional intelligence and the ability to solve problems. This article aims to present how neuromodulation techniques help with emotional regulation and the enhancement of cognitive functions necessary for high performance. Studies carried out using transcranial electrical current stimulation (TDCS) and neurofeedback have shown that these interventions promote improvements in emotional regulation and the activation of executive functions, fundamental aspects for the development of emotional intelligence and cognitive performance. The use of these techniques in the organizational area is still small. However, these are interventions with quick and effective results that can help in the development of the personal and technical profile to meet the demands and interests of companies.
