Abstract

This study addresses mistanasia, the premature death caused by social inequalities and inadequate access to healthcare, highlighting the importance of public policies, education, and awareness in its prevention. Mistanasia is seen as a social justice issue, requiring integrated approaches to ensure universal and equitable access to healthcare. The Unified Health System (SUS) plays a key role in expanding coverage and improving service quality. Additionally, education empowers communities, raising awareness about health rights and healthy behaviors, while motivating actions to reduce social and economic health inequalities.
