ANIMAL RIGHT AND PUBLIC POLICIES IN THE SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This article aims to demonstrate to the target audience the current situation of animals in relation to Brazilian public policies, that despite the advancement of the animal cause, where they are gaining space in the social environment, there is still something to think about, including laws and government actions in relation to sentient beings, as there are still large numbers of mistreatment in Brazil, with the main objective of reaching a possible conclusion of what leads to mistreatment, qualitative and quantitative research methods were used in which one can reach to a possible result, in which the animal is taxed as an object, used as a means and end instrument for human actions, and that despite having protection from the laws and activists of this cause, the public authorities must adopt measures that implement educational means to offer knowledge of animal rights.
